Horrendous penalties since then threaten anyone who violates the applicable EU data protection laws (DSGVO). If you have a website for your business, a privacy policy declaration is obligatory because it complies with your statutory information requirements. Essentially, you need to educate your customers about how you collect, process, and store their information, what you do with it, and what rights they have to protest that.

It’s all about completeness and the right formulations. Who has done everything right, can meet many legal requirements at the same time with his statement.
